The Shafik Gabr Foundation for Social Development is a non-governmental philanthropic organization supporting local initiatives with a mission to promote social development in Egypt.
Since its launch, the Foundation has made impressive strides in realizing its objectives and will continue to expand its activities. Improving the welfare of the local community is a high priority on its agenda, with special focus on providing social, medical and educational services to families in need.

The Foundation’s activities are especially concentrated on the under privileged areas of Mok-attam, Mansouria and Greater Cairo. The Foundation also focuses on contributing help to mothers and infants in the Zilzal earthquake area.
The Shafik Gabr Foundation for Social Development was founded in compliance with the regulations of Non-Governmental Organizations Law (No. 84/2002).
