The Mohamed Shafik Gabr Foundation for Social Development welcomes every year hundreds of underprivileged residents of Mokkattam and Zelzal area during Ramadan on a daily basis at mawa-ed al-rahman (‘tables of mercy’) at which the poor can break their fast. Serving top quality meals, the ‘mawa-ed’ are supervised by the Foundation staff and and receive direct support from Mr. M. Shafik Gabr, The Foundation Chairman and Founder.

In addition to the delivery of Iftar meals during the holy month of Ramadan, the Mohamed Shafik Gabr Foundation staff also distributes food packages to the needy and receive critical medical cases that need urgent healthcare support.
